Ingredients
1/2 cup
oat flour plus 1 tbs
1/4 cup
GF flour
1/2 cup
almond meal
1 cup
milk
2 tablespoons
butter
1 pinch
salt
1 packet
or 2 tsp active dry yeast
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add warmed melted butter and milk. Add salt. Gently mix in oat flour and GF flour. Set on the counter overnight.
- After proofing overnight, gently mix in the almond meal. The batter is ready.
- Note: The batter should be on the thinner side and pour easily, which will give room for the batter to expand to a light, flaky texture while cooking in the cosy waffle griddle.
